Policies
Please read our House Policy before using the accommodation. In matters not covered by the rules, the relevant provisions of the Civil Code shall apply.
Check-in, check-out
The House is available from 2 PM on the day of your arrival until 10 AM on the day of departure. It is possible to arrive earlier or leave later if the Guesthouse has no other reservations for the given days. In both cases prior arrangement is required.
You may access the D12 Guesthouse by 'self check-in'. Self check-in is subject to payment in full of the accommodation fee and prior registration of the guests. Self check-in is very easy and proves to be useful. Information and codes for self check-in will be sent to you prior to arrival. The KYC process is also very easy: just scan your ID documents using your mobile phone. It only takes a few minutes. All relevant information and links needed for this process are sent to you.
Guest's ID details shall be recorded prior to your arrival as it is a legal obligation of the accommodation provider. Failure to proceed with KYC regulations will result in D12 Guesthouse being legally obliged to refuse accommodation.
The following data will be recorded: name at birth, name and surname, date and place of birth, sex and nationality, mother's name if included in the document, registration number of the identity card or travel document, and in the case of third country nationals, visa or residence permit number, date and entry point to Hungary.
D12 Guesthouse will process and store processed data in accordance with the applicable data protection laws.
Can we ask you two favors?
If you are staying for several days, in order to avoid disturbing you, we would like to ask you to kindly help us with two things:
● Please water the 3 plants in pots in the courtyard in dry and warm weather every other day. There is a green watering can in the cupboard under the sink. The whole process shall take up to 5 minutes.
● Please put the black garbage can out on the street on Monday evening as it will be emptied by the garbage collectors on Tuesday early in the morning.
Loss of keys
In case of loss of keys, guests are liable to pay a compensation of HUF 30.000.
Payment
Please settle the total amount of the accommodation fee by bank transfer before arrival. We will send you the payment details in the confirmation e-mail. An invoice will be issued and sent to you by e-mail on the day of check-out. Please let us know the name and address for invoicing purposes.
Daily cleaning
If you are staying for several days, D12 Guesthouse shall be cleaned by us on a daily basis between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Please let us know your requests regarding cleaning. For stays longer than one week, we shall do the cleaning of the D12 Guesthouse at least once a week.
Of course, your belongings shall remain undisturbed during the cleaning process.
Visitors
Only registered guests may stay in the D12 Guesthouse. Registered guests may only receive visitors with the prior agreement of the accommodation provider. The registered guest is liable - including any damage caused - for the behavior of the visitor(s).
Furnishing and valuables of the Guesthouse
Our guests are requested to use as intended the furnishings and equipment of the Guesthouse. Please do not wash shoes in the washing machine, only textiles. It is forbidden to take the furnishings and textiles (including towels) out of the building. Malfunctioning of any item in the Guesthouse must be reported to the staff. Please do not wear street shoes on the stairs leading upstairs and in the bedrooms.
Protecting our environmenth
Use of the air conditioning system is only allowed when windows and doors are closed and only when the House is occupied by the guests. When leaving the Guesthouse, please turn off the air conditioner and the taps, switch off the lights, close the windows and lock the door! We use intended selective waste disposals! Please, place plastic, glass and paper items separately in the waste bins provided.
Rule of conduct
In order to ensure peace of mind and respect of the surrounding neighbors, guests are not allowed to make loud noise at any time of the day: no loud music, shouting, partying are allowed. Please be more cautious and prevent making noise especially after 10 PM. We do not accept escort services. Moreover, erotic filming is expressly prohibited in the D12 Guesthouse!
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in the Guesthouse premises, but electric cigarettes and IQOS are permitted. Smoking is only possible outside the Guesthouse. Please dispose of cigarette butts in the ashtrays when smoking in the courtyard. If you do not comply with our smoking policy, you will be charged a fee of HUF 30.000 or Euros 80 for the smoke removal and will be asked to leave immediately.
Safety
A security camera system operates outside the Guesthouse and in the courtyard. Lost property Food, food related items, medicines, linen left in the Guesthouse after departure will be eliminated by the staff. The Guesthouse will keep the storable items for 1 week. The owner may collect the items left in the Guesthouse upon ID check and reimbursement of any eventual storage costs. Items left in the Guesthouse shall be sent to the address of the owner upon priorarrangement and postage paid.
Complaints
